Pearl Doe does not charge any upfront registration or joining fees. Legitimate agencies earn through commission on bookings, not from charging models to join. Once you are signed, we work on a commission-based model where we take an industry-standard percentage from your earnings on each assignment. Beware of agencies that require large upfront payments.

At a casting, you will typically meet with our team or a client's creative team. You should come with minimal makeup, well-groomed hair, and wear simple, fitted clothing that shows your silhouette. No, a professional portfolio is not required to apply. Simple, clear photos taken on a smartphone are perfectly acceptable for your initial application. We look for natural potential and raw talent. If you are selected, we can help you develop a professional portfolio through test shoots with experienced photographers. Many successful models started with just a few casual snapshots!
